|
CRMBL is an alternate to CLS to clear the screen. The characters drop one by one to the bottom line, and form a pile of junk characters there. The crumbling action is synchronized to vertical sync, so does not produce snow on the CGA monitor. When a character falls, it is replaced by a space, and its attribute (background color) is left behind. This heightens the effect on color screens; ie, after HDIR or SD.
